This incident occurred just two months after a previous assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania[1].
The Incident
The event unfolded at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, at approximately 1:30 PM local time[1][3]. Trump was transitioning between the fifth and sixth holes when Secret Service agents, who were performing security checks ahead of Trump, noticed an armed individual[1].
The suspect, later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, aged 58, had concealed himself in bushes adjacent to the golf course[2][4]. He was positioned approximately 300 to 500 yards away from Trump, armed with an AK-style rifle equipped with a scope[3][6].
Upon detecting the threat, Secret Service agents opened fire, discharging four to five rounds at Routh[1]. It remains unclear if Routh returned fire. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle[1].
Apprehension of the Suspect
Thanks to a witness who captured images of Routh's car and license plate, law enforcement was able to track the suspect[1]. Routh was later apprehended on Interstate 95[3]. At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of a GoPro camera and a backpack containing ceramic tiles[3].
Near the scene of the incident, authorities discovered an abandoned AK-47 rifle, two backpacks filled with ceramic tiles that had been placed on a fence, and a video camera[4].
Background of the Suspect
Ryan Wesley Routh, the alleged perpetrator, is reported to have spent most of his life in North Carolina before moving to Hawaii in 2018[2]. In Hawaii, he and his son operated a business focused on constructing sheds[2].
Routh has a prior conviction from 2002 for possessing a weapon of mass destruction, according to North Carolina Department of Adult Correction records[8]. A 2002 news article mentions an individual with the same name who was arrested after a three-hour standoff with law enforcement, facing charges for carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a weapon categorized as a mass destruction device, specifically a fully automatic machine gun[8].
Routh, a US citizen from Hawaï was supposedly volunteering in Kyiv as a recruiter for the Ukrainian Foreign Legion but the Ukraine disputes this claim. Routh never fought for Ukraine, was a recruiter for the foreign legion, or associated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On 21 June 2024 they put out a warning about him being a grifter.
Reactions and Aftermath
Trump was unharmed during the ordeal and later communicated with his supporters, stating, "There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start to spiral out of control, I wanted you to hear it first: I AM SAFE AND WELL"[1].
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were informed about the situation and expressed relief at Trump's safety[2]. Harris stated, "Violence has no place in America"[2].
The FBI is leading investigations in collaboration with other law enforcement entities, mobilizing various resources including investigative teams, crisis response team members, bomb technicians, and evidence response teams[1].
This second assassination attempt within a short period has raised concerns about political violence and is expected to provoke further scrutiny of the Secret Service's practices[2][6].
There was complete silence from the GOP which, at this point, is to be expected. They want Trump dead more than the Democrat party and deep state do.
The deep state (Zuckerturd) is already burying evidence of the suspected assassin's ties to Nazis in Ukraine and his grooming by the FBI to turn him into a would-be pawn in their effort to eliminate their biggest political challenger.
The most concerning aspect of this incident is the fact that Trump scheduled this round of golf and the very last minute. How did the shooter know that Trump was planning to play a round at his club? Where is the dirty mole? Employee at the resort? Part of Team Trump? Is the FBI spying on the Trump campaign again?
At some point, WE THE PEOPLE need to stand up and push back on the marxist Biden/Harris regime and put Emperor Obama in jail once and for all!!!
